Winter & Spring

Ages 4 - 12

Winter and Spring are the coziest part of the season here at RAD Camp, and we make sure to indulge in lots of fun themed crafts and seasonal treats. We continue to offer educational support to local students, collaborate with other local organizations, and bring laughter and bright smiles to the cold winter months. As Spring arrives the kids get to help build this year’s garden, learning every step of the way from seed-planting to harvesting.

RAD Winter & Spring

    • Daily garden time and getting creative with the connections between learning and doing.

    • Teaching seasonal lessons that encourage kids to bring their love of gardening home to their families.

    • Crafts that encourage curiosity and help develop motor and mental development for little minds.

    • Materials sourced directly from the Earth, or recycled from our own homes.

    • We work with a network of educators available to support students in local schools.

    • Holding space for students to work independently on their own schoolwork, or in collaboration on educational projects

    • Our camp works hard to build independence and develop positive space for kids learning to relate to each other.

    • Each day gives opportunities to become better stewards of our environment and hold open, inclusive space for kids to be themselvves
