Fall at RAD Camp
Ages 4 – 12
As summer fades to fall RAD Campers get to slow down and reflect on inspirations and colors of the Fall season. We learn about the abundance of the harvest, get creative with the plants we’ve grown in our gardens, and provide tutoring and support for our local homeschool community. We have options for different families that are seeking different levels of play and education, and are always open to building custom programming for families that reach out to us to meet a specific need. This year we are excited to offer tutors for multiple age groups and school subjects, alongside our regularly scheduled arts and crafts and garden exploration.
RAD Fall Camp

Whether they come to camp with prior garden time or not, we help them learn confidence around learning the plants and their needs.
Everything in our garden is edible and beautiful, so we frequently challenge children to think creatively use our harvest in our snacks and art.

We use recycled or natural materials for the vast majority of our art and craft projects. We hope that inspires your kids to look more creatively at the waste we make.

Kids get to experience growing and exploring edible flowers and a variety of fruits and vegetables.
Fall is a great time to teach kids about harvesting, preserving, and processing the garden veggies they’ve been taking care of all summer.

We use our creativity and energy to encourage environmental stewardship in an inclusive and safe learning space.
Our low student-to-teacher ratio means each kid gets personalized attention when pursuing their interests in the garden and at the craft table.
We welcome an assortment of guest teachers and artists that share with the kids lessons in mindfulness, movement, and exploring special projects.

Low student ratio, 6:1 instructor ratio
